I created the Deer Man after viewing Wendy Froud's first dvd, Creating a Feary Figure with Wendy Froud.

At the start of the dvd Wendy takes you through a meditative exercise to find an inspired character. I saw the Deer Man. This is the first full-figure piece I have created and I am very happy with how he has come out. He changed quite a bit from my original concept but retained his character and essence throughout. 

He carries natural items in tiny glass jars about his waist that aid him in his healing. He carries on him, gold leaf and rosemary amongst a few others.
